Journal Policies
Guidelines and policies for authors and readers
Submission Guidelines
Transactions on Engineering Research welcomes submissions from researchers, academics, and professionals working across all engineering disciplines. All manuscripts should be original, unpublished work that contributes significantly to the field.
Submissions should include a title, abstract (150-250 words), keywords (5-8 terms), and the main manuscript. Authors must provide complete contact information, institutional affiliation, and a brief biography (50-100 words).
Manuscripts should be submitted in English and formatted according to our style guide. We accept manuscripts in Word (.docx) or PDF format. All figures and tables should be high-resolution and properly labeled.
Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a rigorous peer review process. Manuscripts are first assessed by the editorial team for scope and quality. Those meeting our standards are sent to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
The review process typically takes 8-12 weeks. Authors will be notified of the editorial decision (accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject) along with reviewer feedback. Revised manuscripts should be resubmitted within 30 days.
We follow a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness and objectivity. Reviewer identities are kept confidential, and authors are not identified to reviewers.
